About NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service
NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is part of Environment and Heritage in the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW). NPWS manages more than 895 national parks and reserves, covering over 7.6 million hectares of land, which represents more than 9.5 per cent of the land in NSW.
